·   Utilize outside plant forecast(to dimension copper cabinets, GPON-FDT),existing plant records, cabinet utilization reports, municipal and subdivision maps in the recommendation.

·   Coordinate with various sections in the osp dep’t for pertinent data needed in the recommendation.

·   Coordinate with various utility company to verify location of their existing/propose facilities for proper positioning of proposed hardwares.

·   Design drawings civil and primary.

·   Cost estimates-material and labor.

·   Issue job order base on recommendations received from planning section. Included in the job package is the design drawings of civil(plan 401) and primary(plan 501), job cost(labor and materials),paper works-job description.

·   Issue job order for osp expansion:place new cable from exchange,copper cabinets,manholes and conduit structures and various osp hardwares to serve subscribers in a new area.

·   Note:Civil works and primary/cable works are issued separately with different job order.

·   Provide detail drawings of terminal blocks of new copper cabinets and relieved cabinets.

·   Utilize existing osp records,for spare ducts,stump primary pairs,cable dead pairs,cabinet utilizations,available space verticals in exchange MDF,available dark fibers,ODF/OLT in exchange.

·   Update OSP records by reflecting the completed plans(as built drawings or comeback copy)from construction department.

·   Design to conform to STC standard practice and strict compliance to Saudi MOMRA(Min of Municipal and rural Affairs)agreement.

·   Aug 1995-Oct 1998 As OSP Secondary Designer- Saudi Tel(Riyadh,KSA)

·   Issue job order to provide service to customer in new and existing area(package includes the design drawing of secondary(plan 601),labor and materials cost,paper works-job description).

·   Conduct field survey to assess the demand, check osp condition ,verify customer locations on FIM(facility investigation memo), measure distances.identify the right location to place the propose Dp’s(distribution points),choose the optimum route for buried distribution cable and bsw(buried service wires).

·   Issue job order to relocate osp facilities affected by road widenings/gov’t constructions/beautifications

·   Utilize existing osp records,as well as coordination with other sections in osp dep’t to obtain information.

·   Update osp records by pre-posting the design.

·   Conduct field survey to coordinate with bldg. owners, contractors/consultants during pre-stage design of bldg. to advice them of the size and no of pvc ducts, its location of entry into the bldg. and suitable place and size of tel. room or Main distribution box.Provide customers the detail drawing(plan 701-detail of entrance ducts, main distribution box,tel room)with the agreement entered with the owner.Provide customers with STC manual-the guidelines for bldg internal wirings installation.

·   Monitor completion of bldg., conduct final inspection of internal wirings prior to installation of service.Issue RFS(ready for service order)for line activation.

·   June 1981-Nov 1983 As Network designer Eng’r II JG -6 PLDT(Makati,Philippines)

·   Issue job order to provide service to customers in new and existing area(package includes the design drawing for secondary aerial cable, labor and materials cost, paper works-job description)

·   Conduct field survey to assess the demand, check osp condition, verify customer locations, measure distances, identify the right location to place propose pole and other osp hardwares, choose the best posible route for secondary aerial cable, drop wires.

·   Issue job order to relocate osp facilities, u/g and aerial cables affected by road construction and light rail transit overhead construction.

·   Design to conform to PLDT standard practice, and strict compliance to Municipality/city rules and regulations, observe proper separation with other aerial utilities, Enter into agreement with Electric Co.for Joint pole use.

Technical Skills:

 

Design plans using CAD Microstation.

Prepare recommendations and other paper works using MS Word, MS Excel,MS Visio

Use handheld GPS to locate GSM base stations,Use google sat image.

Use FRAMME by Intergraph to verify network records.

Welding using Oxyacetylene,SMAW
